I Dream of Jeannie was created and produced by late Sidney Sheldon way back 1965, a new idea of beautiful female genie with all her possessed magical powers trying to to integrate with the mortal world to please the man she loved. Fun, humors and romance came out from the show as her 'master' attempts to keep her existence secret, and also she often
needed to use her powers to solve the situations and mistakes she initially created behind the eyes of public.
NASA astronaut and Air Force Captain Tony Nelson was being stranded on a desert island beach caused by malfunctioned space capsule on one-manned NASA Project Mercury mission. Tony noticed a strange bottle rolling by itself on the beach, right after rubbing and removing the cork smokes shoot out coming out a beautiful female genie named Jeannie said locked in the bottle for 2,000 years. As a usual pattern, Tony was Jeannie's master easily granted a recovery helicopter on the place, gratefully he tells Jeannie she's free but she also easily fall in love with Tony, she moves her bottle on Tony's bag and reenters and accompany him back to Florida where in the end, they finally got married. It is revealed that Jeannie was originally human but turned into genie and locked in a bottle after refusing to marry evil genie Blue Djinn two thousand years back in ancient Babylon.
