Caroline in the City

Award-winning sitcom Caroline in the City sitcom created by Fred Barron, Dottie Dartland and Marco Pennette about young cartoonist Caroline Duffy and her successful comic strip titled “Caroline in the City” which was based on her own life and some people around her.

The series was set in Manhattan, beginning with a brief animated sequence reflecting the autobiographical nature of Caroline's syndicated newspaper cartoon strip 'Caroline in the City' colored by Richard Karinsky, with assistance by her occasional boyfriend Del Cassidy and her best friend Annie Spadaro. The endless source of idea and story of her successful strip was her not quite golden personal life, involving her ex-boyfriend Del, new attraction with Richard her best friend Annie and her pathetic attempt to meet men.

Caroline in the City completed 4 seasons of 97 thirty-minute episodes aired from September 1995 to May 1999 on NBC.
