But betrayal came as evil humans frozen Gargoyles for thousand of years, now In Manhattan the magic spell was broken with the aide of multi-billionaire David Xanatos by resurrecting the historic castle on top of Eyrie Building owned by David, returning the warriors in flesh and blood. Gargoyles adjusted to modern time making friends with Detective Elisa Masa, they now tagged protecting the humanity.
Gargoyle animated series completed 78 episodes in 3 seasons aired from October 1994 to February 1997 on ABC.
